This Continental recipe base is made with tomato, basil, garlic, onion and black pepper. All you need to add is beef mince, a can of chopped tomatoes, some mushrooms and spaghetti to have dinner ready in no time. You can also add other veggies, such as diced carrots, for a tasty twist! Ingredients

Sugar, corn starch, maltodextrin, salt, vegetable powders (tomato, onion, garlic), wheat flour, mineral salt (potassium chloride), colour (paprika), natural flavours, sunflower oil, yeast extract, pepper, basil, vegetable gum (xanthan). Contains naturally occurring glutamates.

Preparation Instructions

Just add... 2 teaspoons oil 500g lean minced beef 1 pack Continental Recipe Base 1 cup (250mL) water 1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes 1 cup sliced mushrooms 250g dry spaghetti Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 35 minutes Simply... 1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan or frying pan and brown mince. 2. Add Recipe Base, water, tomatoes and mushrooms; stir to combine. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Cook spaghetti Following packet directions; drain. Combine spaghetti with Bolognese mixture. Serve topped with shaved Parmesan, oregano leaves and a tossed green salad on the side.
